StackStead Solutions (“we”, “us”) is a web and software development company based in Islamabad, Pakistan. We are the controller of personal data collected through this website. You can reach us through the contact form on this website.
02What we collect
Information you give us: your name, email, company, project details, preferred start date and any files you upload through the contact form, when you book a call, or in a chat with Stead, our site assistant. Information collected automatically: your IP address and browser details, which our hosting provider and spam protection process to keep the site secure, and, only if you allow analytics, usage data such as pages visited, device type and approximate location.
03How we use it
To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, deliver the services you engage us for, keep the site free of spam and abuse, and improve this website. We rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and protecting the site.
04Files you upload
Files attached to the contact form are sent to our studio email inbox and used only to understand your project. They are deleted within 12 months if no project goes ahead, or earlier on request.
05Stead, our site assistant
Stead answers questions using only the content of this website. To write a reply, the message you type is sent to an AI provider (Groq, with Google Gemini as a backup), which processes it to generate the answer. Please don’t share sensitive personal information in the chat. The conversation is kept in your browser for the current visit only. If you send us a brief through Stead, we receive it like any other enquiry.
06Free tools
When you use the website audit or the comparison, the web addresses you enter are sent to Google PageSpeed Insights to be tested. The Moodle health check requests public pages of the site you enter. If you ask us to email you a report, we use your email address to send it and receive a copy as an enquiry.
07Cookies and browser storage
Essential storage keeps the site working: for example your cookie choice and your current Stead conversation are saved in your browser. Google Analytics runs only if you allow analytics in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time. We don’t use advertising cookies. Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which may set its own cookies to tell people from bots.
08Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers that help us run this website and our business, for the purposes above: Vercel (website hosting), Google (Gmail for email, Google Sheets for a private backup copy of messages you send us, Analytics if you allow it, reCAPTCHA spam protection and PageSpeed Insights for the free tools), Cal.com (call bookings and invitations), and Groq and Google Gemini (Stead’s replies). Each processes data under its own privacy terms. Google’s use of reCAPTCHA data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We never sell your data.
09International transfers
We work with clients worldwide, so data may be processed outside your country. Where required, for example under the UK GDPR or EU GDPR, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
10How long we keep it
Enquiries: up to 24 months. Client project records: as long as needed for the contract and legal obligations, typically 6 years.
11Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing. Contact us through the contact form on this website and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
12Changes
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
