Moodle upgrades, without the risk.
Upgrades to Moodle 5.x with plugin compatibility checks, a full rehearsal on a staging copy and a rollback plan, handled by our Moodle team.
How do you upgrade Moodle safely?
Check every plugin and the theme against the target version, rehearse the full upgrade on a staging copy of the site, fix what breaks, then upgrade the live site at a quiet time with a tested rollback plan. Courses, grades and plugins are checked afterwards.
Upgrades go wrong when plugins, themes and data aren’t checked first. We rehearse every upgrade on a copy of your site, so the live upgrade is the uneventful part.

Moodle 4.5 is a long-term support release with security fixes until October 2027. Sites on 4.5 have time, but should plan the move to 5.x before then.

No. We rehearse the upgrade on a copy first, back everything up before the live upgrade and keep a rollback plan ready.
